Laser-induced spectroscopy for minerals online analyses
In many mineral-processing installations it is of critical importance to provide an efficient online data on minerals composition. Contemporary online analysis instruments are improving productivity and adding value to mineral resources throughout the world by providing automatic, continuous, rapid and accurate process data in real time.
The task of this paper is demonstration of laser based gated spectroscopy for online evaluation of bulk minerals on moving belt conveyer. We suggest system approach, which combines different laser-based technologies, such as time-resolved luminescence, time-resolved breakdown, and gated Raman.
