Interdisciplinary sensor-based process design and project development

The paper summarizes the phases of project development to asses all technical and financial aspects and the inherent risks of a possible installation and summarizes the portfolio of lifecycle services that support a successful period of operation.

Sensor-based sorting is a high level disruptive technology that impacts on all sub-processes of mineral production. It is therefore crucial for the successful analyses of the financial and technical feasibility, for risk analysis, project execution and operation to involve a team of experienced experts in an iterative and holistic project.
